Newspaper alleges no basis in law or fact for department’s withholding of internal investigation into officer.
The Reporter first published a story and broadcast a video on its website Nov. 18 regarding a complaint filed against Gudex by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department alleging excessive use of force. The video shows Gudex pushing John Lund’s head into a table in the jail booking area. Lund was taken to the hospital for treatment of the injury.
