Leaders of all 13 four-year campuses within the UW System have been summoned to meetings in Madison over the past 2 1/2 weeks by top-level UW officials to brace for the possibility that hundreds of millions of dollars could be cut from the UW System in Gov. Scott Walker’s proposed 2015-’17 state budget to be released Feb. 3.
