Jose Antonio Vargas, a Pulitizer-Prize winning journalist who outed himself as an immigrant who has lived and worked in the U.S. since childhood without papers, was detained Tuesday at a Texas airport, CNN reports.
Vargas was trying to go through security on his way to Los Angeles when he was detained and questioned by U. S. Customs and Border Protection agentsat McAllen-Miller International Airport. He travels with a Filipino passport.
