Avoiding a conflict of interest with Wheeler police chief’s home county of Dunn.
[Chief Gary] Wayerski, who is on administrative leave from his position, is charged with two counts of causing a child to expose his genitals, two counts of exposing a child to harmful material, two counts of child enticement, two counts of causing a child older than 13 to view or listen to sexual activity and misconduct in public office. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Aug. 9.
