What: Photo exhibition “Wisconsin Labor: A Contemporary Portrait,” through April 10
Where: James Watrous Gallery, 3rd floor of the Overture Center, 201 State St. The gallery is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 1-5 p.m. Sundays.
Opening reception with artists: 5:30-7:30 p.m. today. Remarks at 6 p.m. by Wisconsin Arts Board chair Barbara Lawton, state Department of Workforce Development Secretary Manuel Perez, former DWD Secretary Roberta Gassman and Percent for Art Coordinator Chris Manke, followed by music by Rick and Bob March. Gallery talks are scheduled for March 6, March 27 and April 3.
