Fraudster still gets 5

Cassandra Williams,49, worked for the county when she defrauded FoodShare Wisconsin of about $150,000 between 2008 and 2011. She was charged in 2011 along with four other people, later entered an Alford  plea and was sentenced in 2012 to the maximum for food stamp fraud — five years in prison, plus five years of extended supervision….

In its ruling, the Court of Appeals panel in Milwaukee found that nothing was improper about Hansher’s sentence and that Williams failed to show that he based it on any improper or unreasonable factor.
