“It’s people simply stepping up to let kids and educators know they have the support of a variety of people — in a nonpartisan manner,” he told me. “People continue to stop in at the school board office and drop off checks and as I understand it, we’re well over $4,000 to date — perhaps not much money as to the overall budget numbers, but quite symbolic in such a positive way.”
