More than 35,000 people in southeast Wisconsin remained without power early Tuesday after a heavy band of thunderstorms rolled through the region Monday night.
“At our peak, we had about 115,000 customers affected by this storm and that’s roughly one-tenth of our total customer base,” Rick James, We Energies spokesman said Tuesday. “This is the worse [sic] storm since 2005 in terms of impact.”
